Sukta 6.69
उभा जिग्यथुर्न परा जयेथे न परा जिग्ये कतरश्चनैनोः । इन्द्रश्च विष्णो यदपस्पृधेथां त्रेधा सहस्रं वि तदैरयेथाम् ॥
ubhā jigyathur ná parā́ jayethe ná parā́ jigye kataraś canainóḥ | índraś ca víṣṇo yád ápaspr̥dhethāṃ tredhā́ sahásraṃ ví tád áirayethām ||
तुम्ही दोघेही विजयी; तुमच्यातला कोणीही पराभूत होत नाही, आणि तुमच्यातल्या कोणालाही कोणी जिंकलेले नाही. हे इंद्रा व विष्णो! शक्तींच्या क्रीडा-स्पर्धेत तुम्ही परस्पर स्पर्धा केलीत तेव्हा त्या सहस्रशक्तीला त्रिधा—तीन प्रवाहांत—चालना देऊन विभागून पसरविले.
