यो नः सनुत्यो अभिदासदग्ने यो अन्तरो मित्रमहो वनुष्यात् । तमजरेभिर्वृषभिस्तव स्वैस्तपा तपिष्ठ तपसा तपस्वान् ॥
yo naḥ sanutyo abhi-dāsad agne yo antaraḥ mitra-maho vanuṣyāt | tam ajarebhir vṛṣabhis tava svais tapā tapiṣṭha tapasā tapasvān ||
हे अग्ने! जो कोणी दूरून आमच्यावर आघात करील, किंवा जो अंतःस्थ होऊन महत्-मित्र (मित्रमहो) याचा अपमान/नाश करील—त्याला तुझ्याच अजर (अक्षय) वृषभांनी, हे तपिष्ठ (अत्यंत दाहक) जन, जाळून टाक. हे तपस्वान्! आपल्या तपस् (दाह-तेज)ने त्याला भस्म कर.
