सकृद्ध द्यौरजायत सकृद्भूमिरजायत । पृश्न्या दुग्धं सकृत्पयस्तदन्यो नानु जायते ॥

sakṛ́d dha dyáur ajāyata sakṛ́d bhū́mir ajāyata | pṛ́śnyā dugdháṃ sakṛ́t páyas tád anyó nā́nu jāyate ||

एकदाच द्यौ (स्वर्ग) उत्पन्न झाला, एकदाच पृथ्वी उत्पन्न झाली. पृश्नीपासून एकदाच पोषण देणारे दूध दुहिले गेले. तो आद्य प्रसव पुन्हा अन्य रूपाने होत नाही—तोच सृष्टीचा अद्वितीय पाया आहे.
