स गोमघा जरित्रे अश्वश्चन्द्रा वाजश्रवसो अधि धेहि पृक्षः । पीपिहीषः सुदुघामिन्द्र धेनुं भरद्वाजेषु सुरुचो रुरुच्याः ॥

sa gómaghā jaritré áśvaś-candrā vājáśravaso ádhi dhehi pṛ́kṣaḥ | pīpihī́ṣaḥ sudúghām indra dhénuṃ bharádvājeṣu surúco rurucyāḥ ||

हे इंद्रा! स्तोता (जरित्र) याच्यासाठी—आमच्यावर—गोमघा (गौ-समृद्धी) व अश्वचन्द्रा (अश्व-समृद्धी) ही तेजस्वी शक्ती, तसेच वाजश्रवस् (विजयी बल-कीर्ती) याची परिपूर्णता अधिष्ठित कर. हे पृक्ष (पोषक)! आमच्यासाठी सुदुघा (अतिदुग्धदायिनी) इंद्र-धेनू वाढव; आणि भरद्वाज-प्रयत्नांत उज्ज्वल रुची (सुरुचः) अधिकाधिक प्रकाशमान होवोत.
