Sukta 6.3
दिवो न यस्य विधतो नवीनोद्वृषा रुक्ष ओषधीषु नूनोत् । घृणा न यो ध्रजसा पत्मना यन्ना रोदसी वसुना दं सुपत्नी ॥
divó na yásya vidható navī́not vṛ́ṣā rukṣá oṣádhīṣu nūnot | ghṛṇā́ na yó dhrajásā pátmanā yánn ā́ rodasī vásunā dám su-pátnī ||
ज्याची नित्य-नवीन दीप्ती विधत (उपासक) याला—जणू द्यौ (स्वर्ग) प्रमाणे—नवसंजीवित करते; तो वृषभ (अग्नी), तेजस्वी, आपली शक्ती औषधी/वनस्पतींमध्ये प्रवाहित करतो. घृतासारख्या उष्ण प्रभेसारखा तो ध्रजस् (ज्वलन) सहित वेगाने धावतो; तो दोन रोदसी (द्यावा-पृथिवी) कडे, वसु (समृद्धी) घेऊन, जणू आपल्या गृहात—सुपत्नी (सुसंयुक्त) त्या दोन शक्तींमध्ये—येऊन पोहोचतो.
