Sukta 6.28
यूयं गावो मेदयथा कृशं चिदश्रीरं चित्कृणुथा सुप्रतीकम् । भद्रं गृहं कृणुथ भद्रवाचो बृहद्वो वय उच्यते सभासु ॥
yūyám gā́vo medáyatha kṛśáṃ cid aśrīráṃ cit kṛṇutha su-pratī́kam | bhadráṃ gṛháṃ kṛṇutha bhadrá-vāco bṛhád vo váya ucyate sabhā́su ||
हे गावः (रश्मींनो), तुम्ही कृशालाही पुष्ट करता; अश्रीरालाही सूप्रतीक—सुंदर मुखवाला—करता. तुम्ही कल्याणकारी घर घडवता, वाणीला शुभ करता; सभांमध्ये तुमच्याविषयी जीवन-बल महान आहे असे उच्चारले जाते.
