Sukta 6.18
त्वं ह नु त्यददमायो दस्यूँरेकः कृष्टीरवनोरार्याय । अस्ति स्विन्नु वीर्यं तत्त इन्द्र न स्विदस्ति तदृतुथा वि वोचः ॥
tvaṃ ha nu tyád adamāyo dásyūn ékaḥ kṛṣṭī́r avano rāŕyāya | ásti svin nu vīryàṃ tát ta indra ná svid asti tád ṛtu-thā́ ví vocaḥ ||
तूच खरोखर त्या अदमाय—अविध दस्यूंना दाबून टाकलेस; आर्याकरिता तू एकटाच लोकसमूहांचे रक्षण केलेस. हे इन्द्रा, ऋतु (योग्य काळ-धर्म) प्रमाणे स्पष्ट सांग—ते वीर्य (वीरशक्ती) खरेच तुझे आहे का, की ते मुळीच नाही?
