पर्वतश्चिन्महि वृद्धो बिभाय दिवश्चित्सानु रेजत स्वने वः । यत्क्रीळथ मरुत ऋष्टिमन्त आप इव सध्र्यञ्चो धवध्वे ॥
párvataś cin máhi vṛddhó bibhāya diváś cit sā́nu rejata svané vaḥ | yát krī́ḷatha maruta ṛṣṭí-manta ā́pa iva sadhryáñco dhavadhve ||
महान, प्राचीन पर्वतही भयाने थरथरतो; तुमच्या गर्जनेने स्वर्गाचे शिखरही कंपते. हे भालाधारी मरुतांनो, तुम्ही जेव्हा क्रीडा करता, तेव्हा पाण्याच्या धारा एकाच प्रवाहात ढकलल्या जाव्यात तसे, तुम्ही एकत्र येऊन वेगाने धावता.
