Sukta 5.47
तदस्तु मित्रावरुणा तदग्ने शं योरस्मभ्यमिदमस्तु शस्तम् । अशीमहि गाधमुत प्रतिष्ठां नमो दिवे बृहते सादनाय ॥
tád astu mitrā́varuṇā tád agne śáṃ yór asmábhyam idám astu śastám | aśīmáhi gā́dham utá pratíṣṭhāṃ námo divé bṛhaté sā́danāya ||
हे मित्र-वरुणा, ते (कल्याण) सिद्ध होवो; हे अग्ने, तेही सिद्ध होवो. हे आमच्यासाठी शांती व आनंद ठरो—खरोखर स्तुत्य व प्रशंसनीय ठरो. आम्ही दृढ आधार आणि सुरक्षित पारगमन-मार्ग यांची याचना करतो. सत्याच्या महान आसन असलेल्या त्या विशाल दिव्य आकाशाला नमस्कार.
