प्रयुञ्जती दिव एति ब्रुवाणा मही माता दुहितुर्बोधयन्ती । आविवासन्ती युवतिर्मनीषा पितृभ्य आ सदने जोहुवाना ॥

Transliteration

prayuñjatī́ divá eti bruvāṇā́ mahī́ mātā́ duhitur bódhayantī | ā́vivāsantī yuvatír manīṣā́ pitṛ́-bhya ā́ sadáne jóhuvānā ||

Translation

ती स्वतःला योजून, दिव्य प्रकाश-लोकातून पुढे जाते, वाणी उच्चारीत; महती माता आपल्या कन्येला जागविते. प्रेरित मनीषेची युवती, नमस्कार करीत, पितृगणांना त्यांच्या सदनात बोलाविते—आपल्यात यज्ञाचा ‘ऋत’ क्रम स्थिर व्हावा म्हणून पूर्वज-शक्तींचे आवाहन करते.
