आ दैव्यानि पार्थिवानि जन्मापश्चाच्छा सुमखाय वोचम् । वर्धन्तां द्यावो गिरश्चन्द्राग्रा उदा वर्धन्तामभिषाता अर्णाः ॥

Transliteration

ā́ daivyā́ni pārthívāni jánmā́paś cā́cchā su-mákhāya vocam | várdhantāṃ dyā́vo gíraś candrā́grā udā́ vardhantām abhisā́tā árṇāḥ ||

Translation

सुमख (सत्कर्मयज्ञ करणारा) याच्यासाठी मी दैवी व पार्थिव जन्मांकडे, तसेच आपः (जलदेवता/जल) यांच्याकडे वाणी उच्चारली आहे. द्यावः (स्वर्ग) वाढो; ज्यांचा अग्रभाग तेजस्वी आहे त्या गिरः (स्तुतिवचन) वाढोत; आणि अभिषाता (आक्रमणात विजयी) उफाळणाऱ्या अर्णाः (प्रवाह/पूरधारा)ही वाढून वर उठोत.
