न ते त इन्द्राभ्यस्मदृष्वायुक्तासो अब्रह्मता यदसन् । तिष्ठा रथमधि तं वज्रहस्ता रश्मिं देव यमसे स्वश्वः ॥

ná te ta indrā́bhy asmá dṛṣvā́yuktāso abrahmatā́ yád ásan | tíṣṭhā rátham ádhi táṃ vajrahastā́ rāśmíṃ deva yamase sváśvaḥ ||

हे इंद्रा, ब्रह्म—घडविणारी वाणी—नसताना त्या वाईट रीतीने जुळलेल्या प्रेरणा आमच्याकडून नव्हत्या. वज्रहस्ता देवा, आपल्या रथावर स्थिर हो; उत्तम अश्वांचा स्वामी, हे देवा, रश्मी (लगाम) धरा—ऊर्जांना योग्य गतीत नियोजित कर.
