Sukta 4.28
एवा सत्यं मघवाना युवं तदिन्द्रश्च सोमोर्वमश्व्यं गोः । आदर्दृतमपिहितान्यश्ना रिरिचथुः क्षाश्चित्ततृदाना ॥
evā́ satyáṃ maghavānā yuváṃ tád índraś ca soma úrvam aśvyáṃ góḥ | ā́ dardṛtám apihitā́ny aśnā́ riricathúḥ kṣā́ś cit tatṛdānā́ ||
हे मघवन्—समृद्धीचे दोन अधिपती—हेच सत्य आहे: इंद्र आणि सोम! तुम्ही गौ (दीप्त ज्ञान) हिचे विशाल उर्वर क्षेत्र आणि तिच्या वेगवान गती उघडून दाखवल्या. जे कठोर होऊन बंदिस्त झाले होते ते तुम्ही फोडले; आच्छादने दूर केली; आणि आत दडलेले मुक्त करताना, पृथ्वीचे प्रतिरोधही भेदून टाकले.
