Sukta 3.53
हंसा इव कृणुथ श्लोकमद्रिभिर्मदन्तो गीर्भिरध्वरे सुते सचा । देवेभिर्विप्रा ऋषयो नृचक्षसो वि पिबध्वं कुशिकाः सोम्यं मधु ॥
haṃsā́ iva kṛṇutha ślókám ádri-bhir mádanto gī́rbhir adhvaré suté sacā́ | devébhir viprā ṛ́ṣayo nṛcákṣaso ví pibadhvaṃ kuśikāḥ sómyaṃ mádhu ||
हंसांप्रमाणे तुम्ही स्वच्छ स्तोत्र-ध्वनी घडवा; अद्रि (सोमपेषण-शिळा) व गीर्भिः (ऋचा/स्तोत्रे) यांमुळे मदोन्मत्त होऊन, सोम पिळल्या जाणाऱ्या अध्वर यज्ञात—सुते (पिळलेल्या) सोमासह एकरूप होऊन। हे विप्र ऋषयो, नृचक्षसो, देवांसह—हे कुशिकांनो, ते सोम्य मधु (मधुर सोमरस) पूर्णपणे प्या।
