Sukta 3.23
निर्मथितः सुधित आ सधस्थे युवा कविरध्वरस्य प्रणेता । जूर्यत्स्वग्निरजरो वनेष्वत्रा दधे अमृतं जातवेदाः ॥
nir-máthitaḥ su-dhíta ā́ sadha-sthé yúvā kavír adhvarásya pra-netā́ | jū́ryat-su agnír ajáro váneṣv átrā́ dadhé amṛ́taṃ jāta-vedāḥ ||
मंथनातून उत्पन्न होऊन आणि सुदृढरीत्या प्रतिष्ठित होऊन तो यज्ञ-आसन (सधस्थ) येथे येतो—युवा कवी, अध्वर-यात्रेचा प्रणेता. वाढत्या वनांत अजर अग्नी—जातवेदाः—याने इथेच अमृतत्व (अमृत) स्थापित केले आहे.
