Sukta 3.19
यत्त्वा होतारमनजन्मियेधे निषादयन्तो यजथाय देवाः । स त्वं नो अग्नेऽवितेह बोध्यधि श्रवांसि धेहि नस्तनूषु ॥
yát tvā hótāram anájann miyédhe niṣā́dayanto yajáthāya devā́ḥ | sá tváṃ no agne avitéhá bodhy ádhi śrávāṃsi dhehi nas tanū́ṣu ||
देवांनी यज्ञकर्मासाठी तुला होता—आह्वान करणारा पुरोहित—म्हणून यज्ञसभेत घडवून तुझ्या आसनी बसविले, तेव्हा हे अग्ने, तू येथे आमचा रक्षक हो; आमच्यात जागृत हो. आमच्या तनूंमध्ये श्रवांसि—प्रेरित श्रवण-शक्ती—आणि विजयदायी यश/कीर्ती धारण कर.
