Sukta 3.14
मित्रश्च तुभ्यं वरुणः सहस्वोऽग्ने विश्वे मरुतः सुम्नमर्चन् । यच्छोचिषा सहसस्पुत्र तिष्ठा अभि क्षितीः प्रथयन्त्सूर्यो नॄन् ॥
mitráś ca túbhyaṃ váruṇaḥ sahasvo’gne víśve marútaḥ sumnám arcan | yác chóc iṣā sahasas-putra tíṣṭhā abhí kṣitī́ḥ pratháyan sū́ryo nṝ́n ||
मित्र व वरुण, आणि सर्व मरुत्, हे सहस्वन् अग्ने, तुझे सुम्न (अनुग्रह) गातात. तू आपल्या शोचिषा (ज्वालेने), हे सहसस्-पुत्रा, स्थिर उभा राहून सूर्याप्रमाणे आमच्या निवास-लोकांना विस्तारतोस आणि मनुष्यांना व्यापक करतोस.
