भगं धियं वाजयन्तः पुरंधिं नराशंसो ग्नास्पतिर्नो अव्याः । आये वामस्य संगथे रयीणां प्रिया देवस्य सवितुः स्याम ॥

bhágaṃ dhíyaṃ vājáyantaḥ púraṃdhiṃ narāśáṃso gnā́spátir no avyāḥ | āyé vā́masya saṃgathé rayīṇā́ṃ priyā́ devásya savitúḥ syāma ||

आमची धि (प्रेरित बुद्धी) वाज (बल/समृद्धी) वाहणारी करून, भग (Bhaga) व पुरंधि (Purandhi) यांचा शोध घेत असता—नराशंस (Narāśaṃsa) आणि ग्नास्पति (Gnāspati), प्रेरित वाणीचा अधिपती, आम्हांला रक्षो. आणि रयी (संपत्ती) यांच्या संगथे (समागम-स्थळी) आम्ही देव सवितृ (Savitṛ) याचे प्रिय होवो.
