Sukta 2.27
पिपर्तु नो अदिती राजपुत्राति द्वेषांस्यर्यमा सुगेभिः । बृहन्मित्रस्य वरुणस्य शर्मोप स्याम पुरुवीरा अरिष्टाः ॥
pípārtu no áditiḥ rā́ja-putrā́ ati dveṣā́ṃsy aryamā́ su-gébhīḥ | bṛhán mitrásya váruṇasya śárma úpa syāma puru-vīrā́ áriṣṭāḥ ||
राजपुत्रा (राजवंशजा) अदिती आम्हाला परिपूर्ण करो, पोसून वाढवो, आणि सर्व द्वेषांच्या पलीकडे नेवो; अर्यमा आम्हाला सुगम मार्गांनी चालवो. मित्र-वरुणांच्या विशाल शर्म (आश्रय) जवळ आम्ही पोहोचो—बहुवीर्य (अनेक वीरशक्ती)युक्त होऊन, अरिष्ट (अहिंसित) राहो.
