Sukta 2.27
विद्यामादित्या अवसो वो अस्य यदर्यमन्भय आ चिन्मयोभु । युष्माकं मित्रावरुणा प्रणीतौ परि श्वभ्रेव दुरितानि वृज्याम् ॥
vidyā́m ādityā́ ávaso vo asyá yád aryaman bhayá ā́ cin mayobhú | yuṣmā́kaṃ mitrāvaruṇā prá-nītau pári śvábhreva duritā́ni vṛjyām ||
हे आदित्यो, तुमच्या या रक्षणकारी अनुग्रहाचे आम्हाला ज्ञान होवो—हे अर्यमन्, भय येऊन पडले तरीही—तुमची शक्ती आनंदमय होते. हे मित्र-वरुणा, तुमच्या प्रणीतीत (नेतृत्वात) आम्ही आमची दुरिते सर्व बाजूंनी अशी दूर टाकू, जशी कोणी ती खड्ड्यात फेकून देतो.
