Sukta 2.24
ऋतावानः प्रतिचक्ष्यानृता पुनरात आ तस्थुः कवयो महस्पथः । ते बाहुभ्यां धमितमग्निमश्मनि नकिः षो अस्त्यरणो जहुर्हि तम् ॥
ṛtā́vānaḥ prati-cákṣyānṛ́tā púner ā́ta ā́ tasthuḥ kaváyo mahás páthaḥ | té bāhúbhyāṃ dhamitám agním áśmani nákiḥ ṣó asty áraṇo jahúr hí tám ||
ऋतधारी कवी, असत्याकडे प्रत्यवेलोकन करून, पुन्हा महापथावर येऊन उभे राहिले. त्यांनी आपल्या बाहुबलाने दगडात घर्षून उत्पन्न होणारी अग्नी प्रज्वलित केली—तिला अडविणारा कोणी नाही; कारण त्यांनी तिला खरोखरच बाहेर प्रकट केले आहे.
