चक्षुषः पिता मनसा हि धीरो घृतमेने अजनन्नन्नमाने । यदेदन्ता अददृहन्त पूर्व आदिद्द्यावापृथिवी अप्रथेताम् ॥

cákṣuṣaḥ pitā mánasā hí dhīró ghṛtámene ajanann annamā́ne | yadéd ántā adadṛhanta pū́rva ā́d id dyāvāpṛthivī́ aprathetām ||

दर्शनाचा पिता—मनानेच धीर व स्थिर—घृत (उज्ज्वल, परिशुद्ध प्रवाह) आणि अन्न यांची उत्पत्ती करतो; तेव्हा ते दोघे (द्यावा-पृथिवी) वंदनेत नतमस्तक झाले. जेव्हा आद्य सीमा दृढपणे स्थापन झाल्या, तेव्हा द्यावा-पृथिवी आपल्या विस्तीर्ण निवासात प्रसारल्या.
