Sukta 10.78
रथानां न येऽराः सनाभयो जिगीवांसो न शूरा अभिद्यवः । वरेयवो न मर्या घृतप्रुषोऽभिस्वर्तारो अर्कं न सुष्टुभः ॥
rathā́nāṃ na yé’rā́ḥ sa-nā́bhayo jigīvā́ṃso na śū́rā abhi-dyávaḥ | vareyávo na maryā́ ghṛtá-pruṣo’bhi-svartā́ro arkaṃ́ na su-stúbhaḥ ||
जशी रथांच्या आरा दृढ नाभीला जोडलेल्या असतात, तसे ते; जसे विजय मिळविणारे शूरवीर, तसे ते पुढे झेपावत धडक देतात. जसे वरणीय तरुण, तसे ते घृत-प्रुष—तुपासारख्या तेज/रसाच्या थेंबांनी झिरपत, वर उचंबळून उठतात; आणि जसे सु-स्तुत—सुंदर रीतीने उच्चारलेले स्तोत्र, तसेच ते बलवान् उच्चार आहेत.
