प्र मा युयुज्रे प्रयुजो जनानां वहामि स्म पूषणमन्तरेण । विश्वे देवासो अध मामरक्षन्दुःशासुरागादिति घोष आसीत् ॥

prá mā yuyujre práyujó janā́nāṃ váhāmi sma pū́ṣaṇam ántareṇa | víśve devā́so ádha mām arakṣan duḥśā́súr ā́gād íti ghóṣa āsīt ||

मनुष्यांतील अग्रणी मला पुढे जूतीत; मी अंतरी पूषणाला धारण करून वाहत होतो. तेव्हा सर्व देवांनी माझे रक्षण केले—“दुःशासु आला!”—असा घोष उठला.
