Sukta 10.180
मृगो न भीमः कुचरो गिरिष्ठाः परावत आ जगन्था परस्याः । सृकं संशाय पविमिन्द्र तिग्मं वि शत्रून्ताळ्हि वि मृधो नुदस्व ॥
mṛgó ná bhīmáḥ kucaráḥ giriṣṭhā́ḥ parāváta ā́ jaganthā́ párasyāḥ | sṛkáṃ saṃśā́ya pavím indra tigmáṃ ví śátrūn tāḷhi ví mṛ́dho nudasva ||
भयानक मृगासारखा—उंचावर भटकणारा, पर्वतांवर स्थिर असणारा—तू अतिदूर प्रदेशातून इथे आला आहेस. हे इंद्रा, जबडा घट्ट कर; तीक्ष्ण पवि (धार) अधिक धारदार कर; शत्रूंना फाडून वेगळे कर, आक्रमणे (मृध) दूर लोट.
