Sukta 10.155

Devata: Apotropaic/transition motif; addressee is ‘durhano’ (hard-to-slay) possibly the affliction being commanded or a protective force—contextually part of expulsion/crossing imagery

अदो यद्दारु प्लवते सिन्धोः पारे अपूरुषम् । तदा रभस्व दुर्हणो तेन गच्छ परस्तरम् ॥

adó yád dā́ru plávate síndhoḥ pāré apūruṣám | tádā́ rabhásva durháno téna gáccha parastarám ||

तिकडे नदीच्या पल्याड काठावर तरंगणारा तो लाकडी ओंडका—मनुष्यस्पर्शरहित—तो घट्ट धर, हे दुर्हण (दुर्जेय) जन; आणि त्याच्याच आधाराने पलीकडे, त्या परतीरावर जा.
