Sukta 10.121
आपो ह यद्बृहतीर्विश्वमायन्गर्भं दधाना जनयन्तीरग्निम् । ततो देवानां समवर्ततासुरेकः कस्मै देवाय हविषा विधेम ॥
ā́po ha yád bṛhatī́r víśvam ā́yan gárbhaṃ dádhānā janáyantīr agním | tátó devā́nāṃ sám avartatā́sur ékaḥ kásmai devā́ya havíṣā vidhema ||
जेव्हा महत् आपः सर्व विश्वाला वहन करून, गर्भ धारण करून, अग्नीला जन्म देत आल्या—तेव्हा त्यांच्यातूनच देवांचा एक प्राण पूर्ण गतीने प्रवृत्त झाला; त्या देवासाठी आपण आपल्या संकल्प-आहुतीने कोणास अर्पण करू?
