अभि सिध्मो अजिगादस्य शत्रून्वि तिग्मेन वृषभेणा पुरोऽभेत् । सं वज्रेणासृजद्वृत्रमिन्द्रः प्र स्वां मतिमतिरच्छाशदानः ॥

Transliteration

abhí sidhmó ajigād asya śatrū́n ví tigména vṛṣabhéṇā púro ’bhet | sáṃ vájreṇāsṛjad vṛtrám índraḥ prá svā́ṃ matím atirat śā́śadānaḥ ||

Translation

प्रेरक वेग शत्रूंवर तुटून पडला; तीक्ष्ण वृषभबळाने त्यांच्या अग्रभागांना फोडले. इंद्राने वज्राने वृत्राला पाडले; पुढे झेपावत—सदा विजयी—तो आपल्या मतीच्या पलीकडे, उच्चतर विजय-दृष्टीकडे नेऊ लागला.
