Sukta 1.33
न ये दिवः पृथिव्या अन्तमापुर्न मायाभिर्धनदां पर्यभूवन् । युजं वज्रं वृषभश्चक्र इन्द्रो निर्ज्योतिषा तमसो गा अदुक्षत् ॥
ná ye diváḥ pṛthivyā́ ántam ā́pur ná māyā́bhir dhanadā́ṃ páry abhūvan | yújaṃ vájraṃ vṛṣabháś cakra índro nír jyótiṣā támaso gā́ adukṣat ||
ते द्यौ आणि पृथ्वीच्या अंतिम सीमेपर्यंत पोहोचू शकले नाहीत, ना आपल्या मायांनी समृद्धिदात्याला वेढू शकले. वृषभ इंद्राने आपले वज्र-बल युक्त केले; आणि ज्योतीने त्याने तमसातून गायी दुहून काढल्या—अंतर्निहित रात्र-अंधारातून ज्ञानकिरणांना बाहेर ओढून आणले.
