विश्वानि भद्रा मरुतो रथेषु वो मिथस्पृध्येव तविषाण्याहिता । अंसेष्वा वः प्रपथेषु खादयोऽक्षो वश्चक्रा समया वि वावृते ॥
viśvāni bhadrā maruto ratheṣu vo mithaspṛdhyāiva taviṣāṇy āhitā | aṃseṣvā vaḥ pra-patheṣu khādayo 'kṣo vaś cakrā samayā vi vavṛte ||
हे मरुतांनो! तुमच्या रथांवर सर्व मंगल शक्ती प्रतिष्ठित आहेत—जणू परस्पर बल-स्पर्धेत. अग्रमार्गांवर तुमच्या खांद्यांवर तीक्ष्ण, चावणाऱ्या धार आहेत; तुमचा अक्ष आणि चक्रे एकत्र, योग्य लयीत, अखंड फिरत पुढे सरकतात.
