Sukta 1.161
निश्चर्मणो गामरिणीत धीतिभिर्या जरन्ता युवशा ताकृणोतन । सौधन्वना अश्वादश्वमतक्षत युक्त्वा रथमुप देवाँ अयातन ॥
níś carmaṇó gā́m ariṇīta dhītíbhir yā́ jarantā́ yuvaśā́ tā́ akṛṇotana | sáudhanvanā aśvā́d aśvám atakṣata yuktvā́ rátham úpa devā́ṃ ayātana ||
चर्मापासून तुम्ही धीतिभिः (प्रेरित विचारांनी) गायीचे रूप घडविले; जे जर्जर झाले होते त्यांना पुन्हा तरुण केले. हे सुधन्वनाचे पुत्रहो, एका अश्वापासून तुम्ही दुसरा अश्व घडविला; रथ जुंपून देवांच्या समीप आला.
