Sukta 1.115
भद्रा अश्वा हरितः सूर्यस्य चित्रा एतग्वा अनुमाद्यासः । नमस्यन्तो दिव आ पृष्ठमस्थुः परि द्यावापृथिवी यन्ति सद्यः ॥
bhadrā́ aśvā́ harítaḥ sū́ryasya citrā́ etágvā anumā́dyāsaḥ | namasyántaḥ divá ā́ pṛṣṭhám asthuḥ pári dyāvāpṛthivī́ yánti sadyáḥ ||
सूर्याचे भद्र अश्व—हरित (हिरवट-सुवर्णाभ) शक्ती—चित्रवर्ण, वेगवान, उत्साहाने पुढे धावतात. नमस्कार करीत ते दिवाच्या पाठीवर आपले स्थान घेतात; तत्क्षणी ते द्यावा-पृथिवीला परितः वेढीत चालतात.
