Sukta 1.111
आ तक्षत सातिमस्मभ्यमृभवः सातिं रथाय सातिमर्वते नरः । सातिं नो जैत्रीं सं महेत विश्वहा जामिमजामिं पृतनासु सक्षणिम् ॥
ā tákṣata sātím asmábhyam ṛbhavaḥ sātíṃ rathā́ya sātím árvate naraḥ | sātíṃ no jáitrīṃ sáṃ maheta viśvá-hā jāmím ajā́mim pṛ́tanāsu sákṣaṇim ||
हे ऋभूंनो, आमच्यासाठी विजयदायी ‘साति’ घडवा—आमच्या प्रयत्नाच्या रथासाठी साति, आमच्या प्राणबलाच्या अश्वासाठी साति, हे वीर नरांनो. आमच्यासाठी ती जयकारी साति सदैव एकत्र वाढो—रणांत समर्थ, जवळची व सवयीची (जामि) तसेच परकी व अपरिचित (अजामि) शत्रुताही जिंकणारी.
