वार्यमाणःसुसङ्क्रुद्धःसुहृद्भिर्हितबुद्धिभिः ।।।।अभ्यधावतसङ्क्रुद्धःखेग्रहोरोहिणीमिव ।
vāryamāṇaḥ susaṅkruddhaḥ suhṛdbhir hitabuddhibhiḥ |
abhyadhāvata saṅkruddhaḥ khe graho rohiṇīm iva ||
हितबुद्धी सुहृदांनी अडविले तरीही अतिशय क्रुद्ध रावण पुढे धावला—जसा आकाशात ग्रह (मंगळ) रोहिणीकडे झेपावतो.
