कुम्भकर्णवधः
The Slaying of Kumbhakarna
ततोहरीणांतदनीकमुग्रंदुद्रावशूलंनिशितंप्रगृह्य ।तस्थौ स तस्यापततःपुरस्तान्महीधराग्रंहनुमान् प्रगृह्य ।।।।
tato harīṇāṃ tad anīkam ugraṃ dudrāva śūlaṃ niśitaṃ pragṛhya |
tasthau sa tasyāpatataḥ purastān mahīdharāgraṃ hanumān pragṛhya ||
मग तो धारदार शूल हातात घेऊन वानरांच्या त्या उग्र सैन्यावर प्रचंड वेगाने धावून आला। पण तो झेपावताच हनुमानाने पर्वतशिखर उचलून अढळ उभे राहून ते आपल्या पुढे आड केले।
Thereafter Kumbhakarna holding a sharp pike rushed towards Hanuman who uprooted a mountain peak and obstructed him placing it before him.
