Kumbhakarna’s Departure for Battle
गर्जन्ति न वृथाशूरानिर्जलाइवतोयदाः ।पश्यसम्पद्यमानंतुगर्जितंयुधिकर्मणा ।।।।
garjanti na vṛthā śūrā nirjalā iva toyadāḥ | paśya sampadyamānaṃ tu garjitaṃ yudhi karmaṇā ||
शूर वीर व्यर्थ गर्जना करीत नाहीत—पाण्याविना मेघांसारखे नव्हे; पाहा, रणांगणात कर्माने माझी गर्जना खरी ठरते।
"Warriors will not roar wastefully like waterless clouds. You will see me roaring after having completed the action."
