यथाऽसौसम्प्रहृष्टानांवानराणांसमुत्थितः ।बहूनांसुमहान्नादोमेघनामिवगर्जिताम् ।।6.51.3।।व्यक्तंसुमहतीप्रीतिरेतेषांनात्रसंशयः ।तथाहिविपुलैर्नादैश्चुक्षुभेवरुणालयः ।।6.51.4।।
yathā 'sau samprahṛṣṭānāṃ vānarāṇāṃ samutthitaḥ |
bahūnāṃ sumahān nādo meghānām iva garjitām ||6.51.3||
vyaktaṃ sumahatī prītir eteṣāṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ |
tathā hi vipulair nādaiś cukṣubhe varuṇālayaḥ ||6.51.4||
जसे अत्यंत हर्षित असंख्य वानरांकडून एक प्रचंड नाद उठला—मेघगर्जनेसारखा—तसेच स्पष्ट झाले की यांची प्रीती अतिशय महान आहे; यात संशय नाही. कारण त्या विशाल घोषांनी वरुणालय समुद्रही क्षुब्ध झाला.
