सीताविलापः—त्रिजटासान्त्वनं च
Sita’s Lament and Trijata’s Consolation
परिदेवयमानांतांराक्षसीत्रिजटाब्रवीत् ।माविषादंकृथादेवी भर्ताऽयंतवजीवति ।।।।
paridevayamānāṁ tāṁ rākṣasī trijaṭā bravīt | mā viṣādaṁ kṛthā devī bhartā 'yaṁ tava jīvati ||
ती विलाप करत असता राक्षसी त्रिजटा म्हणाली—‘देवी, विषाद करू नकोस; तुझा स्वामी जीवित आहे।’
Looking at Sita, worried, Trijata said 'Devi, do not despair. Your husband is alive'.
It upholds satya as compassionate speech: Trijaṭā counters panic with truth-bearing reassurance, modeling dharmic counsel in a crisis.
Seeing Sītā lament, Trijaṭā intervenes to stop her despair and asserts that Rāma is alive.
Trijaṭā’s integrity and compassion—she stands apart from hostile attendants by speaking truthfully and kindly.
