Mahāpārśva’s Counsel and Rāvaṇa’s Confession of Brahmā’s Curse
तच्चतस्यतदामन्येज्ञातमासीन्महात्मनः ।अथसङ्कुपितोदेवोमामिदंवाक्यमब्रवीत् ।।।।
tac ca tasya tadā manye jñātam āsīn mahātmanaḥ |
atha saṅkupito devo mām idaṃ vākyam abravīt ||
मला वाटते की त्या वेळी त्या महात्मा ब्रह्मदेवांना हे कृत्य समजले होते. तेव्हा संतापलेल्या त्या देवाने मला हे वचन ऐकवले.
"From today onwards if you desire to resort to a woman forcefully, your head will break into a hundred pieces. There is no doubt."

Rāvaṇa recounts how Brahmā learned of his misconduct and responded with an angered pronouncement that becomes a curse/constraint.
