रावणक्रोधः—रामस्य परुषवाक्यम्

ततश्शरसहस्राणिक्षिप्रहस्तोनिशाचरः ।निजघानोरसिक्रुद्धोराघवस्यमहात्मनः ।।।।
tataḥ śara-sahasrāṇi kṣipra-hasto niśācaraḥ |
nijaghānorasi kruddho rāghavasya mahātmanaḥ ||
त्यानंतर शीघ्रहस्त निशाचर क्रुद्ध होऊन महात्मा राघवाच्या वक्षस्थळी हजारो बाणांनी प्रहार करू लागला।
