Ravana’s Shakti Javelin and Lakshmana’s Wounding
तदस्त्रंराघव्श्रीमानुत्तमास्त्रविदांवरः ।जघानपरमास्त्रणगान्धर्वेणमहाद्युतिः ।।।।
tad astraṃ rāghavaḥ śrīmān uttamāstravidāṃ varaḥ |
jaghāna paramāstreṇa gāndharveṇa mahādyutiḥ ||
तेव्हा महातेजस्वी श्रीमान् राघव—अस्त्रविद्येत श्रेष्ठांमध्ये अग्रगण्य—यांनी परम गान्धर्वास्त्राने त्या अस्त्राचा नाश करून ते निष्फळ केले.
"O Vanaras! I take this truthful vow now in your presence. In a short while you will be seeing the world devoid of Ravana or devoid of Rama."
