tato ’haṃ su-mahad-rūpaṃ saṅkṣipya punar ātmanaḥ |
vimocayitvā taṃ bandhaṃ prakṛti-sthaḥ sthitaḥ punaḥ |
āyasaṃ parighaṃ gṛhya tāni rakṣāṃsy asūdayam ||
त्यानंतर मी माझे अतिविशाल रूप संकुचित केले, त्या बंधनातून मुक्त होऊन स्वाभाविक पराक्रमात पुन्हा स्थिर झालो। लोखंडी परिघ हातात घेऊन मी त्या राक्षसांचा संहार केला॥
"I reduced my form and rid of the bondage. Then again I assumed my original huge form and took up an iron bar lying near and killed all the demons (present).
The verse reiterates mission-centered action: restraint is removed not for ego, but to restore the capacity to serve Rama’s righteous aim.
