जनककुलवर्णनम् तथा सीतोर्मिलादानम्

बृहद्रथस्य शूरोऽभून्महावीर: प्रतापवान्।महावीरस्य धृतिमान् सुधृतिस्सत्यविक्रम:।।।।
bṛhadrathasya śūro 'bhūn mahāvīraḥ pratāpavān |
mahāvīrasya dhṛtimān sudhṛtiḥ satyavikramaḥ ||
बृहद्रथाचा पुत्र महावीर नावाचा शूर जन्मला, जो प्रताप-तेजाने उज्ज्वल होता। त्या महावीरापासून धैर्यवान् सुधृति उत्पन्न झाला; त्याचा पराक्रम सत्यात स्थिर होता।
