दिते: पुत्रा न तां राम जगृहुर्वरुणात्मजाम्।अदितेस्तु सुता वीर जगृहुस्तामनिन्दिताम्।।।।

Transliteration

diteḥ putrā na tāṃ rāma jagṛhur varuṇātmajām |

adites tu sutā vīra jagṛhus tāmaninditām ||

Translation

हे राम! दितीचे पुत्र वरुणाची ती कन्या स्वीकारली नाहीत; परंतु अदितीचे पुत्र, हे वीर, त्या अनिंद्येला स्वीकारून घेतले.
