अभिषेक-निवृत्ति-उपदेशः
Withdrawal of the Coronation: Rama’s Counsel to Lakshmana
एतया तत्त्वया बुद्ध्या संस्तभ्यात्मानमात्मना।व्याहतेऽप्यभिषेके मे परितापो न विद्यते।।।।
etayā tattvayā buddhyā saṁstabhya ātmānam ātmanā |
vyāhate 'py abhiṣeke me paritāpo na vidyate ||
या तत्त्वमय बुद्धीने मी स्वतःच स्वतःला स्थिर केले आहे; आणि माझा अभिषेक बाधित झाला तरी माझ्या अंतःकरणात परिताप नाही।
Even though my consecration was thwarted, there is no feeling of sadness in me. In fact I controlled my mind by my intellect.
