व्यक्ताक्षरपदं चित्रं भाषितं मधुरं त्वया।यथा स्वयंवरं वृत्तं तत्सर्वं हि श्रुतं मया।।।।रमेऽहं कथया ते तु दृढं मधुरभाषिणि।

vyaktākṣarapadaṃ citraṃ bhāṣitaṃ madhuraṃ tvayā |

yathā svayaṃvaraṃ vṛttaṃ tatsarvaṃ hi śrutaṃ mayā ||

rame 'haṃ kathayā te tu dṛḍhaṃ madhurabhāṣiṇi ||

तू स्पष्ट अक्षर-पदांनी चित्रवत् अद्भुत आणि मधुर रीतीने बोललीस। स्वयंवर जसा घडला, तो सर्व वृत्तांत मी ऐकला आहे। हे मधुरभाषिणी सीते, तुझ्या कथेत मला खरोखर दृढ आनंद होतो।
