शेष उवाच । इति वृत्तं समाकर्ण्य सुमदस्य महायशाः । साधुसाध्विति चोवाच जहर्ष मतिमान्बली
śeṣa uvāca | iti vṛttaṃ samākarṇya sumadasya mahāyaśāḥ | sādhusādhviti covāca jaharṣa matimānbalī
शेष म्हणाला—हा वृत्तांत ऐकून सुमदाचा महायशस्वी पुरुष “साधु, साधु!” असे उद्गारला; आणि तो बुद्धिमान्, बलवान् हर्षित झाला।

Śeṣa is the speaker. He narrates that, upon hearing the full account, the famed figure connected with Sumada praises it as “excellent” and feels joy.
“Sādhu sādhu” is a traditional expression of approval—affirming that what was heard is commendable and aligned with right conduct or praiseworthy action.
It models appreciative recognition: hearing something noble should lead to verbal affirmation and inner gladness, reinforcing dharmic values through praise and encouragement.
