श्रुते तस्मिन्महापुण्ये भार्या पुत्रैस्तु प्रेरितः । संसर्गादस्य विप्रस्य व्रतमेतत्समाचर

śrute tasminmahāpuṇye bhāryā putraistu preritaḥ | saṃsargādasya viprasya vratametatsamācara

ते महापुण्य कथानक ऐकून, पत्नी व पुत्रांच्या प्रेरणेने, त्या ब्राह्मणाच्या सत्संगामुळे त्याने हे व्रत आचरले।
