Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"adbhuta (wonder)","secondary_rasa":"bhakti (devotion)","emotional_journey":"Begins with the alluring promise of a sacred bath, rises into wonder through the vision of devas, and resolves in emphatic assurance (“satyaṃ satyaṃ”)."}
It teaches the tīrtha-mahātmyā principle: bathing (snāna) at a consecrated sacred place like Śaśopāna is said to yield extraordinary merit, including divine vision (deva-darśana) and the fulfillment of worthy desires.
By presenting snāna at a tīrtha as a means to perceive the devas, the verse frames pilgrimage as a devotion-led practice where faith and reverence open the devotee to higher, divine experience.
Primarily Kalpa (ritual procedure): it emphasizes tīrtha-snānā as a prescribed dharmic act with specific phala (results), aligning with Purāṇic guidance on correct observance of sacred rites.
