Prabhāsa-kṣetra: Circuit of Tīrthas and Shrines Leading to Bhukti and Mokṣa
वसुरुवाच । श्रृणु देवि प्रवक्ष्यामि प्रभासाख्यं सुपुण्यदम् । तीर्थं पापहरं नॄणां भुक्तिमुक्तिप्रदायकम् ॥ २ ॥
vasuruvāca | śrṛṇu devi pravakṣyāmi prabhāsākhyaṃ supuṇyadam | tīrthaṃ pāpaharaṃ nṝṇāṃ bhuktimuktipradāyakam || 2 ||

Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"bhakti","secondary_rasa":"adbhuta","emotional_journey":"Assurance and invitation to listen culminate in wonder at the tīrtha’s power—sin-destruction and the rare promise of both enjoyment and liberation."}
The verse introduces Prabhāsa as a supremely meritorious tīrtha whose defining power is pāpa-haraṇa (removal of sin) and whose fruit spans both dharmic prosperity (bhukti) and the highest aim, liberation (mukti).
While bhakti is not named directly, the verse frames tīrtha-sevā and śravaṇa (listening to the māhātmya) as devotional acts that purify the devotee and make them fit for divine grace leading to both worldly welfare and mokṣa.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is taught in this line; the practical takeaway is the Purāṇic dharma principle that tīrtha-yātrā and hearing a tīrtha-māhātmya are recognized means of purification (prāyaścitta-like effect) within ritual life.
